Sažetak

In this paper, two artificially damaged inner rings, mounted in the outer ring and a cage with needles assembly, were tested. The rings were made of the quenched and tempered EN DIN 100Cr6 tool steel (AISI 52100). During the test vibration displacement, frequencies and temperature increase were recorded. The test was conducted on the self-made test setup which simulates the work conditions of the bearing. The simulation was conducted in continuation of 3 minutes, 1 minute at various speeds of bearing rotations (945, 1025 and 1215 rpm) and different states of lubrication (unlubricated and lubricated) without load. After the test inner ring surface was visually inspected using the microscope camera. Surface analysis showed minor abrasion and adhesion wear, while the vibration displacement decreases and temperature change increases in case of lubrication. Frequency analysis showed an overlap of the calculated and recorded frequencies in some cases.
