Business analysis is commonly used practice which specifies business needs with purpose to find and propose possible solutions to diverse business problems that ultimately brings value to stakeholders. Due to technological advances and modernization of the companies, traditional development methods simply became inadequate to meet requirements of nowadays projects due to their static nature and inability to adapt to possible changes. Hence, agile methodology is becoming more popular since it allows changes during development process while offering higher quality product in comparison with conventional methods.
This thesis paper will elaborate both business analysis andagile software developmentmethodology as termsas well as theircharacteristics. Furthermore, it will present both advantages and disadvantages of agile project implementation. Accordingly, a survey will be conducted among working professionals within software development industry that will analyze their perception of implementing agile approach into software development.
