Sažetak

Nature of real scattering requires calculation of subsurface scattering and light transport in volumetric materials effects. Light transport definition in graphic industry offers information for calculating optical dot gain. Solving scatterin equation is analitically possible uder aproximation where BDRF (bidirectional reflection function) and BDTF (bidirectional transmitance function), combined as BDSF (bidirectional scattering function), are present. These considirations are adequate only for materials with symmetric BDSF functions. We have calculated Lambertian and specular subsurface scattering profiles where they demonstrate certain asymmetry due to substrate structure.
