Sažetak

The study of assessing low-frequency electric and magnetic fields of AC 25 kV/50 Hz power supply systems is presented. Measurements of magnetic flux density and electric field on typical design of contact line system were conducted. The fact that the traction current varies trough time presents difficulty in measuring the magnetic flux density. The comparison of measurements with calculations’ results shows good agreement. Analysis of the results indicates that the amounts of magnetic flux density and electric field of the contact network in areas where people reside are below the limit prescribed by national legislation.
