Students competition achievements analysis at the city of Zagreb university sports championships 2006 – 2010

The results of male and female students from 37 faculties and high schools are analysed in this paper, achived at the Zagreb University Sport Championship during four academic years, from 2006/2007 till 2009/2010. The differences in students competition activities are tested with Kruskal-Wallis analysis of variance and there has been calculated the Spearman range of connection coefficient between male and female contestants. The results of performed analysis showed that male students more often participate in student sport competitions in Zagreb than female students and that complete competitive activity depends of favourable conditions for performance of sport activities, independently of students gender.
