Statutes for Implementing the Provisions of the New Croatian “ Law on Noise Protection”

The new Croatian “ Law on noise protection” encompasses whole multidisciplinary field of noise protection. To assure coordinated actions of all participants involved in process of noise protection, for each specified group of actions a statute is prepared, elaborating action's in details. There are nine statutes, based on EU Directives, EN and ISO standards. The subjects of statutes are following: Maximal allowed levels ; Physical planning ; Preparation of noise maps and action plans ; Building ; Noise sources placed outdoors ; Conditions for performing different activities ; Protection of workers from noise ; Registering of legal bodies for performing specialist work on noise protection ; Obligation of specialist exam.
