The paper deals with problems regarding the teaching and learning spatial reasoning in mathematics. The problems regarding the strong links between visual aspects of geometry that underpins much of information technology have been discussed in detail. The examples of students exercises are given to show a large range of options offered within geometrical courses to students in order to make teaching of space mathematics more interactive and applicable to specific student's interests.
