Under the action of the laser beam energy, the material softens and the particles in each layer start to sinter, but also a new layer with the already existing one, ie the laser beam melts a slightly larger layer in each pass. For better mechanical properties, it is necessary to know how to adjust all processing parameters, which primarily refers to energy density in SLS.
