Reliability of a Light High Speed Marine Diesel Engine

The empirical reliabilty functions R(t), failure rate, and the density of failures of the main marine diesel engine were determined using data on failures. The further study will also determine the intervals for preventive replacement of the subsystem parts based on the empirical data which will be compared to the recommendations given by the manufacture of marine diesel engines.
