Sažetak

Full commitment to democracy and the rule of law, solid guarantees of civil and religious freedoms, full equality and equality of all our citizens, the right of every individual to equal opportunities and the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms guaranteed by international conventions and the Croatian legal system are pivotal political and moral principles of action Government. In implementing the Government's program objectives, the Ministry of the Interior has its strategic goals to be achieved in this mandate. Reform and integration processes in the Croatian police, in the paper are presented from three points of view. First, the reforms presented in the program guidelines of the MoI of the Republic of Croatia for the period 2004- 2007, followed by the reforms and integration processes arising from the geopolitical position and the consequences of war events in these areas. The third is the change that has emerged as a systematic adaptation to the current opportunities determined by global terrorism.
