Sažetak

Although non-Foster matching of electrically small antenna has been investigated for many years, it still suffers from serious stability problems and power level limitations. An alternative transmitting system, that imitates non-Foster matching by a superposition of two quadrature offset voltage signals at a short dipole, is proposed. This system avoids stability problems that are inevitable in ordinary non-Foster matching. The correctness of proposed idea is verified both by simulations and preliminary measurements on an experimental demonstrator operating in HF frequency range.
