Sažetak

Additive manufacturing (AM), known as 3D printing, has revolutionized the manufacturing industry by enabling the layered creation of three-dimensional objects from digital models. The materials used as filaments are constantly evolving to ensure the best possible mechanical properties of the printed models. One such material is filament with added carbon fibers. Carbon fibers improve the strength, stiffness, and thermal resistance of the material. The importance of this composite material is growing as more personal 3D printers can use these materials, which were traditionally intended for professional 3D printers. This work investigates the current market situation for FDM filaments with added carbon fibers, analyzing the market for PLA, PETG, and nylon-based filaments, categorizing material offerings, and objectively comparing available materials offered by renowned manufacturers for consumer FDM printers.
