Sažetak
From the perspective of maintenance within production facilities, a key function is to ensure that equipment, machinery, and systems remain in optimal condition to support uninterrupted production and minimize repair costs. Occupational safety and health considerations place the human worker at the center of production systems.
Research conducted by the authors indicates that harmonizing two seemingly opposing organizational systems—maintenance and occupational health and safety—results in a synergistic effect that enhances productivity. Ultimately, this leads to an overall improvement in employee performance and quality, both in the technical-technological domain and in terms of material and financial outcomes.
Managing these processes requires an efficient and well-organized approach, as demonstrated in this paper through an example of maintenance operations within a real production facility, in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard series.
