On two families of curves

As a starting point of our study, we introduce a fixed circle K with radius r and one of its tangents t. Then, by fixing a real number, a certain one-parametric family T(r, d) of triangles is defined based on the kinematic motion. Furthermore, by varying d we analyze the properties of the associated families of curves. The study lead to new definition of some known curves based on its metric properties.
