Numerical Simulation of Nonlinear Propagation in Dispersion Managed Fibers
Sažetak
Propagation of soliton-like pulses in dispersion managed fibers has been numericaly modelled and the properties of propagating pulses thoroughly investigated. A split step algorithm combining the finite differences beam propagation method with non-linear phase modulation was used for modeling of propagation equation. Both the propagation of pulses in normal as well as in anomalous average-dispersion regime has been investigated.
