Sažetak
Is the artist also a scientist at the same time? Could this question be posed in reverse? Is the art of creating the same thing as the art of discovering and getting to know scientific principles in the natural human environment? Sometimes merging the incompatible leads to the unimagined, and in fact the obvious. The paper deals with the phenomenon of light or rather the human perception of light which we colloquially call colour(dye). That is, from two points of view. The first scientific treatment of light is especially related to the visible part of the spectrum and part of the near-infrared spectrum. The second is related to the direct use of these laws in artistic creation. Works of art by the academic artist Nada Ziljak (in Croatian: Žiljak) are unique in the world in terms of technical performance. The very fact that two images exist in one and the same place is intriguing in both scientific and artistic terms. This will be presented by computer simulation, although only physical / visual contact with the work gives a full experience of the phenomenon. Both in the artistic and the scientific sense.
