Sažetak

Fibres are added in concrete in order to improve mechanical properties of concrete and prevent appearance and spreading of cracks. In the spirit of sustainable development, with a goal to reduce the waste accumulation, a few possibilities of recycling discontinuous Eglass fibres were studied. By interweaving direct rovings, 40 – 80 mm wide edges of the fabrics are being cut as a waste. The intention of the study was not to develop a particular product, but to test possibilities of materials preparation when discontinuous glass fibres are added. The fibres were added to concrete and mortar and their influence to materials properties was tested.
