Sažetak

With the aim of securing the fire resistance properties of fireproof coatings, when exposed to corrosion conditions, it is necessary to protect it with top coat. In this paper, samples of unalloyed carbon steel with three different coating systems and two classes of resistance to fire, R30 and R60 were tested. Anti-corrosive properties of the coating systems were tested in salt and humidity chamber. The stability rating of the coating was carried out with respect to the substrate corrosion, flaking and blistering according to ISO 4628 and adhesion test according to ISO 4624. For the testing of fire-protective properties, samples were exposed to open flame, whereby the temperature of the base material was measured for 30 and 60 minutes. The results show that successful active protection to fire of samples which were exposed to continental humid climate was achieved while the systems that were exposed to the salt mist did not retain fire-protective properties.
