Sažetak
Every ground object is influenced by shifts and deformations. Actual object movements can be examined by well designed and carefully performed observations and measurements, which is the basis for processing and adjustment. It is also precondition for analysis and interpretations of short and long-term predictions of object functionality. Beside periodic observations of deformations, experimental measurements are performed on selected objects. Objective of these projects is to achieve better accuracy of applied measurements methods, based on analysis of theoretical errors and the true value of shifts. Objective of experimental measurements on the business tower ‘’Zagrepčanka’’ is investigation of capability of the CROPOS (Croatian Position System), as new and powerful system with different services, combined with geometric levelling to determine absolute shifts of object on daily basis. Also, measurements will show the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of this method for shift determination in a strictly defined time intervals.
