In this work paging system and service development trends are presented. Guarantied delivery is described as most important motive for future development of one way paging system. Voice paging is emphasized as an attractive service provided over two way system. Multimedia interactive messaging is introduced, as well as it applications. At the end two way paging is compared to its competitors. Main conditions of two way paging success are emphasized.
