Sažetak

The global market increasing demands for the quality control of produced mechanical products, so in last few decades there has been an increasing development of 3D measuring devices for controlling them. Modern 3D measurement systems can be classic contact and non-contact, which are especially increasingly used in industrial processes for the control of geometric and dimensional features due to their speed and flexibility. Classic 3D measuring devices measure internal and external geometric and dimensional features by physically contact of the measuring probe and the object of measurement and identifying points in the x,y,z coordinate system. 3D optical measuring systems use triangulation and projected light method for measuring of the internal and the external geometric and dimensional features. The projected light projects a set of lines on the subject of measurement and by applying the triangulation method each point is awarded with the set of coordinates x, y, and z. Outcome value of the conducted measuring using a 3D optical measuring instrument is a set of point clouds that enter the "polygonization" process, which creates a virtual object of measurement. 3D non-contact measuring systems have a major deficiency in the absence of an ISO standard that defines the calibration procedure of such devices, so it is difficult to evaluate their quality. One of the possible method of quality evaluation is a comparison measurement, so the paper present comparison measurement of the object of measurement on a classic 3D measuring device and a non-contact optical measuring device.
