This project describes the current certification programs for new buildings in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and gives a brief summary on the status and outlook in Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia. The report recommends suitable benchmark criteria for new buildings in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina for reaching the minimum of 20% savings of either primary energy or CO2 as required by the GGF. Finally, the report shall provide average figures on investments and payback figures for increased energy efficiency in new buildings in both countries.
