Sažetak
Tobacco waste, olive mill waste, grape waste and biowaste can be treated by composting process in which biodegradable matter is decomposed in to stabile product (compost) with release of heat, gases (CO2, NH3, H2S, CH4) and water. In this work composting process of tobacco waste (TW-P1), mixture of tobacco and grape waste (TGW-P2), mixture of tobacco and olive mill waste (TOW-P3), mixture of tobacco, grape and olive mill waste (TGOW-P4), mixture of tobacco and biowaste (TBW- P5) and biowaste (BW- P6) in thermally insulated reactor with working volume of 10 dm3, airflow of 0.8 dm3 min-1 and initial moisture of 60 % was conducted. During the 21 days of composting process conversions of 47 % (P1), 56 % (P2), 50 % (P3), 52 % (P4), 65 % (P5) and 71 % (P6) were reached. The highest production of CO2 and NH3 was detected in experiments P6, and P1, respectively.
