Codes Allocation at the UMTS/IMT-2000 based on Wide Band CDMA FDD

This paper in first section presents multimedia CDMA terrestrial systems, which are the basis for the IMT-2000 standard. In the section 2 describes four different classes of service at UMTS/IMT-2000 FDD. Section 3 gives short description of the W-CDMA FDD air interface. Section 4 presents codes allocation for dedicated channel. Finally, conclusions about allocation codes strategy are offered in section 5.
