Sažetak

At the Electrical Engineering Department of the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences, (Course "Intelligent Systems"), research is being conducted in the field of specialist maintenance and training based on monitoring legislation, and processing empirically created databases and knowledge bases. The basis for the latest developments and improvements to the lifelong education and professional development program are legislative documents that confirm the model of continuous introduction of components of human factors and human performance related to the dominance of intelligent technologies. A more detailed analysis of the possibilities of intelligent technologies and human behavior has undoubtedly confirmed the duality of the process of transformation and dependence. The beginning of use contributed to the improvement of information management and the speed of communication, while the development and possibilities of interactivity imposed the integration and dependence of people on technologies. The level of intelligent human performance and consciousness is hypothetically set as a process of demystification and transformation of human factors. The paper presents an area of research that points to the conclusion that the intelligence and consciousness of human beings must lead and contribute to the well-being and progress of civilization through the responsible use of the brain and assistive technologies. The model of consciousness development is chronologically, historically and evolutionary linked to the state of cognition, i.e. the state of development of the mind, which is associated with the development and realization of technology through the industrial revolution. Extremely rapid changes not only in the development but also in the use of technologies, both at the individual and social levels, have initiated the process of digital transformation. In addition to the proclaimed legislation and based on the research conducted, the theory of change and the introduction of technologies must encompass digital and cognitive transformation, which is confirmed by new models of lifelong education and professional development
