Sažetak

During late March/early April I posted a series of Tweets on Twitter that set out rather crudely the basis for a new system of strengthened world multilateralism on the general assumption of the limits and eclipse of US as sole superpower and the rise of China, and other nuclear powers outside the Security Council. I described the convergence of a looming triple apocalypse:

the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the huge unnecessary loss of life and the disastrous prospect of a limited ‘tactical’ nuclear war; the Covid pandemic that has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 6.5 million people; the global ecological crisis with massive biodiversity loss, species extinction, and 1000-year exceptional floods and megafires (Peters, 2022)

In response we decided to experiment with ‘Twitterizing’ collective academic writing. A number of scholars were invited to comment, Twitter-style, on the initial related posts (numbered below) through the same condensed form. Contributors have added their initials following each comment. Here is the result.
