Sažetak
This research presents contemporary processes for planning, modelling, configuration, and programming of reliable, advanced, and resilient computer network technologies. These technologies are developed for the sustainable operation of office-oriented systems and intelligent robotic warehouses, aligning with the highest industry standards and software engineering principles. The methodological framework comprises a scientific content analysis of relevant academic and professional literature, focusing on: (1) the theoretical foundations of modern industrial and office networks; (2) fundamental network classifications (including NANO, BAN, SAN, PAN, HAN, LAN, MAN, WAN, and WLAN); (3) the TCP/IP suite and associated models; (4) network protocols; (5) IPv4 addressing; (6) QoS, ROS2, and other industry standards; and (7) the capabilities of network simulation tools within modern education and industry. The primary research findings are presented in the experimental and practical sections, encompassing topology design, partial configuration of industrial and office network devices, and an evaluation of modern end-devices. Furthermore, the paper examines best-practice case studies, dynamic and static IP allocation, and the programming of critical network subsystems, such as routers and switches. The study further explores the utility of simulation tools in educational and industrial robotic contexts. The conclusion provides recommendations for future research, specifically regarding software engineering principles for network testing and connectivity verification. A distinct contribution of this work lies in its specific case studies: firstly, an analysis of SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) networks as integrated wired and wireless environments; and secondly, an evaluation of network functionality for low-cost industrial AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) utilising LIDAR and CNN architectures to ensure the sustainable operation of robotic warehouses under sub-optimal wireless conditions.
