Sažetak
Smart vehicle systems enable new opportunities to enhance traffic safety and functionality through device connectivity and real-time data exchange. This paper describes the development of a smart, modular system based on the Espressif ESP32-S3 a high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC). The device features a 1.28-inch Thin-Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (TFT LCD) and integrates navigation data, On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) telemetry, and media control into a single device. Communication between the hardware and a custom Kotlinbased mobile application is established via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The device is housed in a custom-designed, 3D-printed Polylactic Acid (PLA) enclosure. The main innovation of the system is the integration of multiple functionalities into a compact solution, reducing driver distraction and improving driving safety. The total production cost of the system is approximately 30 euros, making it significantly more affordable than commercial alternatives.
