Modeling Seasonal Variations and Growth in Renewable Electricity Production in Croatia
Sažetak
A dual-component modeling approach for renewable electricity production in Croatia, focusing on hydro, solar and wind power plants is presented. Using the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and a shifted logistic function, monthly data were analyzed to predict seasonal variations and long-term growth trends. The model effectively identifies dominant frequencies, recurring patterns and growth trajectories in renewable electricity production. The results offer valuable insights for assessing environmental impacts and optimizing energy management systems in Croatia.
