Dualism in print through VZ-QR coding
Sažetak
In this paper we present the domains of light absorption for process printing inks for the purpose of expanding security printing and art protection with dual QR codes. Reading and recognition of two individualized QR codes printed in the same place is carried out by ZRGB video cameras, as well by barcode and optical readers. In addition to the three CMY dyes for the visual spectrum (V) of our eye, we introduce the “Z region” as the "fourth eye" space in the domain of 750 to 1000 nanometers. Thereby we distinguish the first individualized graphic "V-QR code" designed for the visual spectrum and the second graphic "Z-QR code" designed for instrumental detection in the near-infrared spectrum. Printing of a dual code, respectively two codes in one, implies four different stages in procedure: an independent space for the elements of the first "V-QR code" graphic, an independent space for the "Z-QR code" graphic, an overlapping space for the two graphics and an empty space without printing ink necessary for reading the "VZ- QR" codes. The proposed algorithm and realization in printing process is performed with CMYK dyes with the Infraredesign method of determining the K value. The goal of double codes is the individualization and protection of QR codes, as well their application in security printing, and in wider range of graphic products, with the possibility of marking artwork on the back and accompanying documentation. This paper presents the design and printing of such dual coding in the field of a Fine Arts, for the purpose of protecting authorship and artwork.
