Sažetak

The need for rehabilitation of reinforced concrete structures is rapidly increasing. Until now, for rehabilitation was used steel that was glued on concrete surface. This technology is now abandoned. Products of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) are being used instead. FRP system is integrated system based on carbon fibers and epoxy resign. Strengthening is achieved as for composite elements, gluing lames on structural elements. In paper is presented integrated concept of rehabilitation of concrete bridge with spans 20.13+2x20.5+20.13 meters. Bearing structure is composed (transversally) of 5 beams with hollow openings. Beams are prestressed adhesively and additional transversally on site. Concrete used is MB40, prestressed with cables 12.4 mm and additionally reinforced with reinforced steel. Columns are made of concrete MB35. Identification of structure damage and the exploration activities are explained. Characteristics of FRP system are presented. The proposal for bridge rehabilitation is shown. Paper shows that FPR system can be used for rehabilitation and strengthening of concrete and prestressed structures. It can also be used for metal and wooden structures.
