Managing IT projects is a complex and dynamic endeavor that demands an interplay of various methodologies, methods, and tools within a dynamic project environment. Rapid technological changes and the diverse nature of project demands intensify the complexity, requiring IT project managers to adapt swiftly to new challenges. This study surveys 98 Croatian IT project managers to explore their use of traditional and agile methodologies, prevalent tools, and artificial intelligence (AI) integration within project management processes. This paper examines the dynamic field of IT project management in Croatia, offering insights from industry experts and a thorough analysis of prevailing trends. The findings provide valuable insights into current practices and the anticipated role of AI in future IT project management developments.
