Increasing wear resistance of sliding bearing surfaces using PACVD coatings
Sažetak
The paper describes the wear tests of EN DIN 100Cr6 steel rings coated with two-layer PACVD coatings TiN / TiCN and TiCN / TiN. Surface roughness, thickness and adhesion of coatings, dry friction factor and resistance to adhesive wear were tested. Tribological tests were performed by the method of sliding the block on the ring with combinations of contact of the coated ring and the bearing bronze block and the ring with and without coating in the tribopar with noncoated steel block EN DIN 100Cr6. From the performed tests, it was determined that at dry friction and load of 98.1 N, the lowest adhesion wear track and friction coefficient was achieved by the tribopar "bearing bronze - ring coated with PACVD TiCN / TiN coating". The similar friction factor with increased wear track was found in the tribopar "bearing bronze - uncoated ring".
