Sažetak

The idea of a simple volumetric cylindrical cloak, based on a pile of stacked transmission-linebased layers, is presented. Each layer comprises a previously introduced web-like transmission line network, sandwiched between two parallel metallic plates without any matching layer. Full-wave simulations showed a decrease of the scattered field, i.e the existence of a cloaking effect. However, the cloaking effect was deteriorated by the existence of a parasitic TEM mode within parallel metallic plates. A method of compensation of this effect by connection of a lumped reactive load at the edge of metallic plates is proposed.
