Sažetak
The primary missions of any nation’s Armed Forces encompass safeguarding its territorial integrity and sovereignty, participating in regional security mechanisms, as well as providing support to various civilian institutions. To execute their missions, forces’ commanders have to carry out complex decision-making processes, further complicated by the inherent accountability for each decision made. This accountability is grounded in the understanding that commanders are held responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from their decisions. Consequently, forces’ commanders at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of command must have access to reliable, accurate, actionable intelligence from the field, which is delivered to forces’ commanders on time. This intelligence enables them to make decisions to increase the mission’s positive outcome, as well as provide security to friendly or allied forces. Recognizing the imperative need for accurate information, artificial intelligence (AI) is employed to near-perfectly identify military vehicles, used in different army branches. For these reasons, this study presents an approach to collecting data for the Military Decision-Making procedure, to enhance the decision-making process.
