The aim of this article is to demonstrate the purposefulness of the existence of two distinct but very related studies in the field of computing at the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences, given the similarities and differences, and the satisfaction of students with the study and the contents of the subjects and the manner of the knowledge transfer. The graduate specialist Study in Computing and specialist Study of Information Security and Digital Forensics are compared, at the level of the first two semesters. The comparison is done by using qualitative analysis and comparing the contents of the subjects and related outcomes, and the quantitative analysis of the student survey at the end and the beginning of professional subjects.
