Sažetak

Dinaric mountains are 650 km long, stretching across Balkan Peninsula, from Slovenia at northwest to Monte Negro at southeast. 10 species of the genus Drusus (Malicky 2004, Marinković-Gospodnetić, 1979) were found in this area and more than 80% of them are endemic. The highest number of endemic species were found in Bosnia and Herzegovina: D. bosnicus Klá., D. klapaleki Mar., D. radovanovici Mar., D. vespertinus Mar., D. ramae Mar., D. medianus Mar. and D. schmidi Boto. Although a number of papers with larval morphology of Drusus species from different parts of Europe were published (Graf et al. 2005, Hickin 1966, Lepneva 1966, Wallace et al. 1990, Waringer 1987, Waringer & Graf 1977), larvae of most species in the Dinaric area remain unknown (Kučinić 2001). A description of the fifth larval stage of Drusus medianus Mari-Gosp. collected at the spring of the river Plava Voda in Novi Travnik is presented. Besides the information on the morphological identification, comparison of morphological features with other Drusus species from Dinaric area (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is given.
