Wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) Communications are the new segment of cellular mobile communications, which gain a higher importance with emerging of 3G mobile networks. By the analysis of possible wireless M2M applications, 3G M2M applications arc identified, as well as their possible market segments and target objects. On the basis of proposed penetration growth model and criteria for Croatian market requirements, penetration of traffic intensive and traffic non-intensive 3G M2M end-points are estimated.
