Sažetak
Additive manufacturing (AM) is increasingly applied in the development projects from the initial idea to the finished product. The reasons are various, but what should be emphasised is the possibility of rapid manufacturing of the products of complex geometry based on the 3D computer model. Today there are a lot of different technologies in additive manufacturing. This paper reviews PolyJet technology which was first introduced in 2000. From that time till know, it was found that reproducibility of dimensional features represents a problem for all AM processes. Accuracy is difficult to predict, since it depends on many parameters (material type, surface finish types (matte vs. glossy), part orientation, feature direction and feature shape). In this paper a test plate with different geometrical features is presented in order to understand what the minimum manufacturable feature size is, as well as to make conclusions about problems in assuring reproducibility of structures printed using PolyJet technology. Measurements of different geometrical features on two test plates processed with same production parameters are presented and discussed.
