Euromold 2012 was held in Frankfurt/ Main from 27 to 30 November 2012 with the concept From Design to Prototyping to Series Production. At this year’s EuroMold special topics was Jewellery Industry. Austria was the partner country of EuroMold 2012 because Austria is the 7th important export market for Germany and the country has a strong position in plastics sector (plastics processing, machinery, tooling and moldmaking, materials, and packaging). In the same time 14th Annual International Wholers Conference: Advances in Metal Additive Manufacturing was organized within EuroMold by collaboration of the Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), German Engineering Federation VDMA, DEMAT and the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT. The next EuroMold 2013 will be held in Frankfurt/ Main from 3 to 6 December 2013.
