Sažetak

Anthropological analysis of the skeletal remains was performed, including histological analysis to obtain the age at the time of death, sex, stature and possible bone pathologies. The basic recognition of textile-type fragments and the preparation of microscopic samples with the aid of a stereomicroscope were obtained. The final determination of the origin of textile fibres by their morphological characteristics was performed on a comparative microscope and compared with the reference natural fibres collection of the Forensic Science Centre "Ivan Vucetic". A further textile material analysis was carried out using Raman micro-spectroscopy. In total eight textile-type samples were extracted and analysed microscopically. The microscopic and stereological analysis (Nikon, FX 70-300) of tanned leather from the tomb was used to determine the ratio of collagen and elastic fibres, which may have referred to their origin of certain animal species. The elemental analysis and insight into the morphological properties of two metal objects and the glittery dust particles was performed by a non-destructive Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (SEM/EDX
