Sažetak

The research has been performed based on the empirical method by way of using a developed model to define patterns printed on substrate in order to describe reproduction in halftone imaging. The developed model is the expanded Murray-Davies equation derived from Yule-Nielson model. The expanded equation model contains two empirically obtained parameters „ w“ and „ v“ . This developed model describes the mean reflectance (R) along with the dot area fraction (Fi) and experimental data obtained from microscope images. Parameter „ n“ in Yule-Nielson model is defined by way of fitting “ n” parameter while comparing R and Fi data. In the case of developed model, the parameters „ w“ and „ v“ are defined based on the microscope image data. This paper contains analyses of the implemented part of the expanded Murray-Davies model on transparent substrate. The transparent substrate was printed with flexographic printing technique using the solvent based ink and UV ink.
