Sažetak
Croatia is still at beginning phases regarding implementation of information communication technologies into use. Distance learning method carries numerous possibilities in everyday organization of educational process from almost, time and spatial, unlimited possibilities to way of learning. Therefore it is important to find the best possible way of new method application and adequately, according to the conditions and needs, incorporate into educational system. Problems in conducting classes in periphery and rural parts of Croatia could be solved by using information communication technologies in distance education. In developed countries distance learning is accustomed way of using ICT for a long period for different services and learning models. However, for systematic implementation of e-learning in Croatia huge obstacles are still: absence of strategic guidelines, maladjusted legislation, unstructured financing resources and deficient human resources in support system of e-learning.
