Sažetak

On the basis of the appropriate laboratory set-up the possibility of using IR thermography for buried objects detection and identification was evaluated. The experimental system included several sets of objects buried in two different types of soil. Thermography was used for determination of surface temperature distribution. The developed mathematical model and measured temperature distribution were used to formulate the requirements for thermographic measurements. Results obtained are discussed for possible application of the method for buried antipersonnel landmines detection.
