The Maslenica Highway Bridge is a vital structure on the road link between north and the south of Croatia. Due to its position, Maslenica Highway Bridge is exposed to extremely unfavourable climatic conditions such as wind, insolation, temperature changes, salt from sea etc. Damage of materials and parts of structures have occurred as a consequence of harsh climatic conditions. In order to evaluate condition of all parts of Maslenica Highway Bridge investigation works were carried out in October 2010. In this paper an overview of applied procedures and methods for condition assessment of material and structural elements are described, as well as current structural condition and causes which led to certain damage.
